Helpful information when renting an Enterprise vehicle at Melbourne Airport

The minimum age for renting and driving and Enterprise vehicle is 21. Drivers under the age of 25 are subject to a daily young driver surcharge and are restricted to which class of cars they may rent.

All drivers and renters must provide a valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 12 months prior to the rental date and it must be valid throughout the full rental period.

For some vehicle classes, such as Luxury, Special SUV and a few more the minimum age is 30 and a full license is required.

Enterprise accepts Australian, overseas and international driver’s licenses that include a photograph. In certain cases, such as if the license is not written in Roman letters, an International Driving Permit, IDP, or other form of official government translation of the license must be provided in addition to the original driver’s license. In some cases an international driver’s license is required. Also required is an official document with the driver’s home address written in English if the address is not provided on the IDP.

Returning a rented Enterprise vehicle at Melbourne Airport
